The Cruces Creatives facility, at 205 East Lohman in Las Cruces, is a large (12,000 square feet) space divided into several areas, each suited to a particular type of work. Wireless internet is available to members throughout the building.

The Main Room is a general-purpose work area, along with the front reception desk. In the Main Room, you will find:

  • Portable work tables that can be rearranged as needed
  • A series of cubicles that can be used when more privacy is needed
  • Several computer systems, both Windows and Linux, for general member use
  • Scanners and printers
  • A Raspberry Pi system
  • Drafting tables
  • Laminating machine
  • Book press
  • Common office tools
  • Several Cricut cutting machines
  • Video/photography editing booth

The Conference Room, as the name suggests, is a meeting room. Members have access to this room and non-members can rent the space. In the Conference Room, you will find:

  • A conference table, seating a maximum of 15 people
  • White board
  • Projector (ask a staff member)
  • The conference room also serves as our First Friday Art Gallery

The Textile Lab is an area dedicated to the textile arts. In the Textile Lab, you will find:

  • Basic sewing machines
  • Industrial sewing machines
  • Sergers
  • Looms
  • Shoe Patch machine
  • Large work tables
  • Irons and ironing board
  • Self-healing cutting mats
  • Hand tools

The Audio-Visual room is designed to provide professional results. In the Audio-Visual Room, you will find:

  • Professional quality cameras and sound recording equipment
  • Green, black, and white screens for photography/videography
  • Lighting umbrellas with many light sources
  • Light boxes
  • Private recording studio with computer hardware and software

The Multi-Purpose Room is a space primarily for special events up to forty people. In the Multi-Purpose Room, you will find:

  • A stage with sound system
  • A projection screen
  • Tables and chairs that can be set up for events
  • Sofas and easy chairs for relaxation
  • Project storage racks and lockers
  • Site-built arcade system
  • Break room with hot tea and coffee by donation

The Electronics Lab is designed to allow members to explore digital and analog electronics, 3D-printing, and other robotic technologies. In the Electronics Lab, you will find:

  • Several 3D-printers

  • Laser engraver (engraves and cuts)
  • Workbenches
  • Breadboarding equipment

The Woodworking Shop is a fully-equipped shop for creating with wood and other materials. In the Woodworking Shop, you will find:

The Hub Community Bike Shop is operated by our partner, Velo Cruces, as a place to maintain and repair bicycles. In the Bike Shop, you will find:

The Kids Rooms is a large area dedicated to enabling kids to learn through play and creating. In the Kids Room you will find
