This workshop offers a curriculum used by 19thcentury painting masters to learn and refine the fundamentals of drawing. Bargue Plates are part of the drawing course created by French painters Jean-Le’on Gerome and Charles Bargue. The plates are tools used to teach students proportion, values, and other essential drawing techniques. This course will build your skills of perception and realism and take your drawing to the next level. (Pablo Picasso studied Bargue Plates).
