Basic CAD SVG Design (SVG Only)(2D Cut Files)
Learn how to use Inkscape Vector Graphic editing software to design from scratch cut files for the Laser Cutter, CNC Router, Cricut Machine, or Vinyl Master (large format vinyl cutter)
What is "CAD"?
CAD is an acronym for "Computer Aided Design," it is what we use to create
2D and 3D files, models, and renders that can be used for
various additive manufacturing processes.
An SVG is a "Scalable Vector Graphic" a universal file type
most common for computer generated art, images, and drawings.
In this training demonstration, you will see how to use shapes, lines and text
to create 2D CAD drawings in Lightburn that can be exported
as SVG files, which can be imported and used in other
software's such as Easel (CNC) and Cricut Design Space (Vinyl Cutting)
This class is a mix of lecture and hands-on demonstration.
