Come join us to design and create your own Alebrije.

Alebrijes are brightly colored Mexican folk-art sculptures of fantastical animals.Students will study New Mexican animals and combine them to create your own creature using paper clay, newspaper, wires, and paint.   

Age range : Grade 4 & 5

Class size is limited to 12 students. (Please sign up for class even if it is full as there is a waitlist and we will be able to contact you in the event of an opening, or, if there is enough interest we may be able to offer an additional session.)

*This class, which would normally cost $130, is being offered for FREE to LCPS students through the City of Las Cruces ARPA funds.  LCPS student ID numbers (also known as student’s lunch numbers) will be required to register. 

Please wear close toes shows. You can bring a water bottle. Snacks are available. You can purchase a 5$ or 10$ punch card or buy as you go.
