A music class that incorporates coding, can be a creative and interactive experience for students. Makey Makey is an invention kit that allows individuals to turn everyday objects into touchpads and use them to interact with a computer. In the context of a music class, Makey Makey can be used to create unique and innovative musical instruments.

Free to students of Title 1 schools!

Title 1 schools include all Las Cruces Public Schools, and charter schools including :
Alma D'Arte Charter, Arrowhead Early College High School, Arrowhead Park Medical Academy, Las Montanas Charter, Mesilla Valley Leadership Academy, New America School, La Academia Dolores Huerta, Explore Academy, J Paul Taylor, and Rio Grande preparatory Institute.
