*Please note, this camp is free for students attending a title one school. Title one schools include ALL Las Cruces Public Schools, plus a few charter schools. If you have questions about if your school is included in Title one, see more information at the end of this post.

Robot Combat AGES 12-17

In Combat Robot Starter Club you will get to choose from three types of weaponized, one-pound, robots, and learn how to assemble the electronics, 3D print the body parts, and practice driving!

At the end of the week, you’ll battle it out with other club members. 

These robots meet the requirements for the national BattleBots competition, which is held locally twice a year by the New Mexico Robot Combat club at Cruces Creatives. Participating in these competitions will help you move up the ranks!

Please note - in order to take home your robot at the end of the week you MUST attend all days of camp. 

The Final day of camp will be THURSDAY the 13th.

If you are unable to attend all days of camp you will not be able to take the robotic components with you at the end of the week.

-Bring a water bottle. Snacks will be available for purchase. Students need to wear closed toed shoes to camp. Long hair should be tied back for safety. 

Thanks to Funding from the City of Las Cruces and the American Rescue Plan Act we are able to offer these camps free of cost to all Title One students who attend schools in Las Cruces. These schools include all of the Las Cruces Public Schools, White Sands Schools, Mesilla Valley Leadership Academy, Arrowhead Park, Alma d'Arte, J Paul Taylor Academy, La Academia Dolores Huerta, Los Montanas, New America, Raices Del Saber.
