Cruces Creatives Family Night

Use this once a month opportunity to bond and build, come make more than just memories. This is a wonderful opportunity to have all the fun of a creative project without the clean up!

Activities for each family night are arranged around a theme with projects intended for the kindergartner up through adults.  Younger participants are welcome, they will just need more support and supervision from their adults. Older siblings, aunties and uncles are also welcome. So is that best-friend-neighbor cousin.

October’s theme is Grab Bag.  This is a great opportunity to get to know all the different domains offered in the makerspace.

There will be activities to suit many different making interests, including slime making, laser cutting, button making, bracelet making and even a super spooky paper jack o'lantern.

All activities are “work at your own pace”.  You can spend as little or as much time as you’d like. Feeling like you want to make ‘real art’, go ahead.  Want to just dabble, feel free! There’s no wrong way.

There is no online registration for this event.  The event is intended for family groups who have students attending Las Cruces Title 1 schools. We will have sign in sheets at the front asking for student names, which school they attend, and their ID numbers
