While some experience hand sewing is helpful, it is not required.

Come and make the tiniest little felt critters that fit in an altoids tin, then decorate the tin to suit your Teeny.  Maybe they stay with you, and maybe you can make them as a gift! Either way, this will be a super fun class!

Skills learned in this class:

• Whip stitch (hand stitch)
• Ladder stitch (hand stitch)
• Use of hemostats as stuffing aid
• How to sew on buttons, beads and sequins

All materials are provided.  

Students should wear closed toe shoes in class.

Thanks to Funding from the City of Las Cruces and the American Rescue Plan Act we are able to offer this class free of cost to all Title One students who attend schools in Las Cruces, otherwise it would cost $49.00. 

Title One schools include all of the Las Cruces Public Schools, White Sands Schools, Mesilla Valley Leadership Academy, Arrowhead Park, Alma d'Arte, J Paul Taylor Academy, La Academia Dolores Huerta, Los Montanas, New America, Raíces Del Saber.
