Sewing experience, while helpful, is not necessary.

Do you have a special furry pal that needs a nice fresh banana?  Come learn the fundamentals of using the sewing machine and iron-on vinyl.

This class will work as an open workshop allowing families to work at their own speed. Each family will have one sewing machine to share.  The Cricut machines will be available for cutting personalized images and text for use on the bandanas.

All materials are provided.  

Students should wear closed toe shoes in class.

Thanks to Funding from the City of Las Cruces and the American Rescue Plan Act we are able to offer this class free of cost to all Title One students who attend schools in Las Cruces, otherwise it would cost $49.00 per person. 

Title One schools include all of the Las Cruces Public Schools, White Sands Schools, Mesilla Valley Leadership Academy, Arrowhead Park, Alma d'Arte, J Paul Taylor Academy, La Academia Dolores Huerta, Los Montanas, New America, Raíces Del Saber.
