Through demonstration followed by hands-on practice, learn how to take soil samples for laboratory testing, then practice several general approaches for improving soil health: the menu of options (to be chosen based on interest) include composting, biochar, and compost tea. Afterwards, enjoy a free, grant-funded meal at The Corner Kitchen (300 S. Bullard Street, Silver City, NM 88061).
