Color Experiments for K-2

K-2nd grade students will use their "Science Eyes" and the scientific method to observe how colors change when pH, temperature, sunlight and other conditions change. Students will run a series of tests to see which colors will fizz, shift, appear and disappear. There will even be art to take home at the end.

-Please note, this camp is free for students attending a title one school. Title one schools include ALL Las Cruces Public Schools, plus a few charter schools. If you have questions about if your school is included in Title one, see more information at the end of this post.

Thanks to Funding from the City of Las Cruces and the American Rescue Plan Act we are able to offer these camps free of cost to all Title One students who attend schools in Las Cruces. These schools include all of the Las Cruces Public Schools, White Sands Schools, Mesilla Valley Leadership Academy, Arrowhead Park, Alma d'Arte, J Paul Taylor Academy, La Academia Dolores Huerta, Los Montanas, New America, Raices Del Saber.
