Youth Beading (Ages 9 +)
Come join Ms. Sandy to make some awesome, intricate beaded wearables. Using the beading loom, students will make bracelets/wrist cuffs of their own design, experimenting with beads of several sizes, including small glass seed beads. Also using the seed beads, students will learn the brick stitch to hand sew earrings, zipper pulls, or backpack clips.
These two simple techniques can be used in a wide variety of ways with a wide variety of results. Come learn the fundamentals of sewn beadwork.
All materials are provided.
